Comment prévenir la fourbure ?
  1.     ⚖   Maintenir un bon état corporel/BCS
  2. 🚫🥖 Alimentation pauvre en sucre et amidon 
  3. 🚫🌱 Pâturage réduit, donnez du foin 
  4. 🏃🐎  Beaucoup d’exercice
  5.     📐  Pieds alignés et soutenus 
  6.     🧪  Surveillez pour SME/DPIP (ou syndrome de Cushing - EMS/PPID en anglais)

Dr. Joyce Harman, Harmany Equine Clinic Holistic Veterinarian talks about Laminitis with Wendy Murdoch, with a layman's term understandable metaphors for IR, EMS, PPID and stress, how laminitis is a bit like the horse's version of heart disease in humans, making use of electric fencing to manage grass intake at high risk times, watching out for fluctuations in sugar levels in grass, using your eyes and a weight tape is faster than taking blood tests, using Sure Foot with a laminitic horse, using grazing muzzles.
